After payment of the first Full Member and Business Member fees, the Business Member is entitled to a discount on all other Full Member fees paid in relation to the business.
A Business Member must undertake and complete educational updates as determined by the Board and published on the Boards website. A Business Member will receive technical information produced by the NCJV and applicable to this category of membership.

A Sponsored Member is a business that independently contracts, or deals with a Full Member to provide independent valuation services to that member.
The Sponsored Member has no voting rights. The Sponsored Member will receive technical information produced by the NCJV and applicable to this category of membership.
To be eligible as a Sponsored Member, the applicant must agree:
A Full Member who is not practising may apply to become a Non Practising Full Member for up to three years at any one time without losing Full Membership status. A Non Practising Full Member has no voting rights.
A Non Practising Full Member will receive technical information produced by the NCJV and applicable to this category of membership.
To be eligible as a Non Practising Full Member, you must have been a Full Member for two consecutive years prior to the application.

Someone who has been a Full Member for two consecutive years and is no longer working as a qualified valuer may apply to become a Retired Full Member.
Their continuous period as a Full Member is terminated upon becoming a Retired Full Member. There are no voting rights attached to this category of membership and there is no obligation to maintain educational updates.

Reinstatement of a Retired Full Member to Full Member is not an automatic entitlement. The former member must provide proof of updated educational competency and skills or successfully complete the current full valuers examination, and pay all appropriate fees.

These are individuals or entities that are not directly or indirectly engaged in the business of providing valuation services and are not qualified valuers.
They have no right to use the seal and have no right to make any representations without written agreement.
There are no voting rights attached to this category of membership. Affiliate members may attend NCJV seminars or courses upon paying the relevant fees and will receive applicable technical information produced by the NCJV.
They may also be entitled (upon written application, payment of the prescribed fees and agreeing to comply with the relevant terms and conditions) to have links with approved websites to the NCJV. However, there is no automatic entitlement for a link and you must comply with all the terms and conditions.
This is someone who is currently enrolled in a course that may lead to a Dip. Gem. (Valuation) or the equivalent. The Student Member has no voting rights attached to their membership.
The Student Member does have a right to receive various discounts in relation to courses outside their Dip. Gem. (Valuation). The Student Member will receive technical information produced by the NCJV and applicable to this category of membership.
