NCJV Membership

There are some compelling reasons for becoming a member of the National Council of Jewellery Valuers. The fact that we insist on an approved educational standard gives our members important credibility and a clear edge in a competitive marketplace.

Registered Member

To join as a full member and enjoy all the benefits and privileges of NCJV membership, you must meet a minimum educational standard, commit to ongoing professional development, and agree to the terms of membership. As a full member, you will also have voting rights.

Sponsored member

Sponsored membership is a way of being part of the NCJV if your business is exclusively using the services of an NCJV registered valuer member. As a sponsored member you will have the right to promote that you are affiliated with the NCJV if you have entered into a service agreement with a full member. Sponsored members have no voting rights.

Student Associate

A Student Associate is an individual who has completed or is enrolled in a gemmological qualification, aspiring to become an NCJV Registered Valuer™, who benefits from resources, training, and networking opportunities while adhering to professional standards and ethics.
